How it all started
Barry and Kerry are the creators of Kerry’s Party For Less! They have been entrepreneurs together since 1994! And if you think that’s impressive – to top it off, they’ve been happily married for over 40 YEARS!!!
Kerry’s Party For Less started off by leasing their store locations in the early days. It was a tough go with the ever-changing economy and inevitable business developments. They moved from Centre Mall in Hamilton, to Kerry’s by Queenston Mall, Hamilton, and then Kerry’s on King Street, downtown Stoney Creek. Then, in July of 2014, Barry and Kerry opened their first personally owned and operated location at 188 Ottawa Street North in Hamilton, Ontario! When they bought the property it was in shambles – they had a lot of work to do – but with some TLC and their special touch, they were able to turn it into the gorgeous store it is today! Way to go Kerry & Barry!
Kerry & Barry have an amazing family-based team on staff! Teresa, Rebecca and Rayna are highly skilled Certified Balloon Artists with exceptional customer service skills and are always making work a fun place to be! Shannon and Justin can be found helping out at the store when it’s busy and on special occasions like Sew Hungry, the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween!
Teresa has been with us for 6 years! She is an absolute all-star, we love her so much! Thank you, Teresa, for being our rock (and our memory bank too!) You’re the best!
Kerry and Barry’s daughter Rebecca has grown up in the family business! Rebecca also makes Kerry’s TikTok videos!
Rayna is Kerry and Barry’s granddaughter! She has been working part-time at the store for over a year and already is a professional balloon artist!
Kerry and Barry’s oldest daughter Shannon has been helping at the store and with the website since 2019. She and her partner Justin also come in on special occasions to help out!

You can usually find Kerry at the store Monday to Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm… Well, unless she’s on a delivery! We’re trying to convince her to take a day off once in a while but she is a harrrrd worker! I don’t think she remembers what a day off looks like! We love you for it though Kerry!!
A family business would not be complete without the family dog! This is Boston – Kerry and Barry’s Granddog. He offers his assistance at the store from time to time. Doesn’t he look great in his Kerry’s Party For Less work shirt? Such a hard worker!
